Citymind Was Awarded a Pilot Project Involving AI Agents for the Municipality of Bašť

The village of Bašť in the Central Bohemian Region will become a new location where we will test how AI agents can streamline the day-to-day operations of the municipal office. In collaboration with the village, we will deploy a customized solution to help automate selected administrative processes.

We secured this pilot project in a competition for a bonus pilot during the closing meeting of URBIS The Smart Cities Meetup as part of the European PilotInnCities project. Among the 13 projects submitted, we and the municipality of Bašť made it to the three-way final—and the decisive draw resulted in victory for the AI agents project for managing municipal office operations.

Bašť is a municipality with approximately 3,000 residents. This type of environment is ideal for verifying specific benefits: how artificial intelligence can save employees time, simplify repetitive tasks, and improve the municipality’s accessibility for citizens.

We will be closely monitoring the pilot in the coming months. The insights gained can help identify best practices that can be replicated in other cities and towns.
