Citymind was founded during a college course, where its future founders met thanks to JIC, Masaryk University, Brno University of Technology, and Mendel University in Brno.
It all started as a student project driven by the ambition to demonstrate that artificial intelligence can truly help cities and municipalities communicate more effectively with their citizens. Convincing the first local governments to entrust us with part of this responsibility wasn’t easy—but we succeeded.
Through the JICbooster program, we further developed our idea and gained practical know-how on everything from scaling up to legal protection.
Today, Citymind’s tools are used by cities, municipalities, and companies—from Prague 6 and Pardubice to theO2 Arena. We’re a profitable company, we’re growing, we’ve earned ISO 27001 certification, and beyond the Czech Republic, we’re preparing to enter other European markets.
