How can we integrate artificial intelligence into the daily operations of 2,820 municipalities in the Czech Republic? Together with the Union of Towns and Municipalities of the Czech Republic (SMO ČR), we are working on our largest project to date, which aims to bring AI technologies to thousands of local governments across the country.
SMO ČR represents officials from 2,820 municipalities, including all statutory cities—that is, more than 80% of the Czech Republic’s population. On this scale, it makes sense to develop AI as a practical tool that will make the work of government officials easier and help them navigate important information more quickly.
In the project ” GUIDE FOR COUNCIL MEMBERS – HONZÍK,” the first AI assistant for mayors and council members, Citymind is creating an intelligent layer for fast data processing. Through API connectors, we integrate verified services into a single environment—for example, Advomate for specific legal inquiries and the Ministry of Finance’s State Treasury Monitor for a direct view of finances and budget management.
Throughout 2026, we will deploy the solution in a live environment, test it, and continuously improve it together with the people who will be using it every day. We thank SMO ČR for its trust and courage to innovate.
