How can artificial intelligence make the path to university easier? At ECON MUNI, an AI chatbot acts as the first point of contact for prospective students while also freeing up the hands of the study department.
Both students and applicants gain instant access to important information, making communication with the faculty faster and more efficient. The chatbot handles the most inquiries during the entrance exam period — often at night, when no one is available by phone or in the office.
The implementation of an AI chatbot at the Faculty of Economics and Administration of Masaryk University demonstrates that artificial intelligence can significantly improve student access to information while also lightening the administrative workload. This project shows that AI chatbots can bring substantial benefits to academia and serves as an example of a successful digital innovation in the higher education sector.
